Spinach - New Zealand

Don't let the name fool you, New Zealand spinach isn't actually spinach; it's actually part of the fig marigold family. New Zealand spinach is high in vitamins A, C, and manganese. It got its name because like spinach the longer it matures the more bitter it becomes.

Pairings:
Lettuce, tomatoes, strawberry.

How to Use:
Raw, sauteed, steamed, or braised.
